Improving the quality of education in practical nature conservation: professional seminars

The project will consist of specialised educational seminars for professionals and agricultural institutions. Each seminar will focus on one of nine selected topics, which will provide the targeted group, consisting mainly of professionals in the field of nature conservation and farming, with new knowledge and specific insights that they can use in their regular work practice.

The proposed project will help increase the targeted group's expertise in the field of practical nature conservation and environmental management. The high level of specialisation and specificity of the professional seminars, combined with field excursions to sites with examples of good practice, will enable participants to learn about the topics in detail, including implementing various procedures in practice. This is particularly beneficial for professionals and officials of environmental departments involved in the management of both small and large protected areas. Completing these educational seminars thus gives participants an advantage in the labour market, as they will be able to independently propose appropriate solutions for landscape management or, in the case of agricultural units, manage them with more care and efficiency.
